Difficult job considering how hard Jimi was on amps (and guitars).

Imagine being a roadie for Jimi Hendrix being the second coolest thing you’ve done in your life.

When asked if he had learned anything from Hendrix, Kilmister said, “Yeah, I learned to give up guitar and play bass instead.”

Jimi: Okay, stand behind the amps and wait till I hit them
Lemmy: Okay

Very cool. I didn’t know this. I met Lemmy at the Troubadour in LA once. I said “Wow ..are you Lemmy?” He just smiled but did not respond. At that point I knew it was a safety precaution to not give himself away so quick. He cam by again and I said “Lemmy!!”. Some time had passed so he reached out his hand and we shook. Was very cool.

The person behind the amp is Michael Jeffery, Jimi’s manager, not Lemmy.

It’s true that Lemmy was on Jimi’s crew, but he isn’t in this picture – I’ve yet to see any confirmed pics of them together

Do you even have to say “from Motorhead?”
People will upvote anything these days…
Lemmy is not in this photo.
