Goes right into engineering history books! Don’t care about Musk’s political views, this is some of the most epic shit I’ve seen

Somewhere some super smart scientists, are super super proud and they should be. Almost couldn’t believe my eyes how much future was in that video!

NASA : we could do this in 60 years and 14 trillion dollars. In 60 years: “We’re gonna need another 60 years. And some more money”

    4. For context, this is the largest rocket booster every launch. The Booster alone is 232 feet tall and 30 feet in diameter.

    5. Expect it to get downvoted because spaceship man bad, but this paves the way for potentially sustainable space voyaging in the future

    6. These SpaceX landing videos always seem AI generated or reversed. That’s some cutting edge technology right there.

    7. Is this safer than the normal landing procedure or why is this a great deal ??
      Options for different terrains?
I want to understand why this is needed? (Honest question)

Oh my goodness I never thought they would pull it off on the first try. An amazing feat of engineering, hats off to the team behind this even if their boss is an ass.

    9. One of these days our society will reward engineers for their awesomeness with jacuzzis full of pudding and cocaine.

Redditors: ‘That’s really really cool and impressive, but I’m not going to admit that because we agree on hating Elon Musk.’

    11. The ladies and gentlemen that have done this… absolutely incredible. You’ve just made genuine history!

    12. Ok, but what’s the point of this? Does it bring any progress towards something ornisnit just a flex?
