It’s like a frog in boiling water. The Republican party has been slowly morphing over over the last 40 years and people still think that it’s keeping to certain ideals that it’s actively thwarting.

There is a common theme, or rather the absence of a theme, that runs through ***ALL*** conservative or pro-capitalist propaganda and that is the total lack of any appeal to empathy or recognition that it exists or should influence politics or economics.
Appeals to empathy in conservative or pro-capitalist propaganda would be a waste of time because there is nothing inside the minds of these types for those appeals to connect to or motivate.
