It used to be that every summer you’d see flags out for the 4th on every house, and now it’s a declaration of affiliation, and usually accompanied by a thin blue line sticker and a trump sign
I’ve been proud to be an American all of my 36 years, but I wouldn’t even consider putting a flag outside these days
