    1. I work in a food servery on a university campus, these containers are behind the kitchens, outside by the bins

    2. Do not store anything in here, do not use these containers, these containers do not contain highly illegal and dangerous chemical weapons, these containers are not fronts to conceal illicit activity including but not limited to money laundering, drug trafficking, and copious amounts of radiation. These containers are simply containers that should stay empty. Do not store anything in these containers.

    3. They were probably written up by some EHS or H&S wonk for putting something in there like used cooking oil or HazMat cleaners, blah blah without proper signage and matching MSDS.

Source: Done battle with EHS wonks for decades. They wanted to chain off an area 24/7 just in case there was ever a power failure (and the battery lights come on in seconds). “No, I’m not letting you create a BS situation to write against forevermore because everyone is going to cut through it because it’s dumb.”

I’m more invested in what’s in these containers than I was in that random AITA guy’s locked olive container.

They look just like large skip bins (probably 15 cubic metres or so); two rear doors that latch like that and the lugs on the sides half way up that cranes use to pick up from, but the interesting thing is it looks like they’ve had a roof added to them. I’ve never seen that before.
