    1. You don’t think she would go to jail immediately after? What law says that? Because the way it is enforced is that she is sent to jail as soon as they find out.

Jail is where people who can’t afford bail after being charged are held. Prison is for post-conviction.

It’s possible that this woman couldn’t afford bail for these bonkers charges

And she is suing (the Texas judge just allowed the case to go forward ) because it is not illegal for a woman to get an abortion for herself. The Doctors are the ones at risk of arrest (still wrong but a big difference )

    4. What in your opinion is the facepalm here? It seems to me that you think the content in the tweet is the actual facepalm…

The facepalm here is sharing your uninformed opinion.

Yeah but just think how much better being arrested and jailed made the whole trauma of a stillbirth in the end. /s

Texas looks like an extremely fucked up cartoon to me.

Hell my government sucks (i live in germany) but yours looks like a shitty april fools joke.
It doesn’t make sense to me that any of this could be real

Who votes for more of this? Really who is supporting treating neighbors like this?

How nice about the United States, they didn’t exist during the Dark Ages but they want to suffer it too just like Europe out of empathy, so they are making life in the country just as hellish!

    10. Wow, another crystal ball prediction come true.

      *WHO COULD HAVE FORESEEN THIS!*

Anyone with half a brain and some knowledge of history knew this was an eventuality. But yeah, lets keep doing the wrong thing and expecting a different result.

    11. They’ve executed the mentally challenged, I don’t think they’d have any qualms about incarcerating a recently pregnant woman.
