I think the issue with the Dems is that they’re too calculated in their communication which puts people off because it doesn’t seem sincere.

I heard her on The Weather Channel today and nearly melted. She is exactly this stern, clear, concise, caters the message to the audience. She also did great making it known without saying it that DeSantis may be pulling political bullshit to try and make her look bad–but she isn’t having it.
Also, I could never listen to Trump or Biden speak. They ramble, stutter, are hard to follow. Her oration is maybe even better than Obama’s. And I LOVED hearing that man speak. I also love hearing VP Harris speak.

I’m nervous for her, I hope her race and gender don’t bring her down. America is progressive, but I don’t know if it’s progressive enough to elect the first woman president, and a black woman at that.
I was selfishly hoping for an open convention, I wasn’t convinced Harris was the right choice even though I was pretty certain Biden wasn’t (after the debate).
I still wish she’d have more concrete policies, and you can’t take back her time spent as a nasty DA. But all of that aside, she’s done really well. And I’ll happily take her over Trump. I have a feeling she’ll be “more of the same”, which can be problematic, but if it’s another 4 or 8 years like Biden or Obama I’ll be happy. Because we all know it could be way, way worse.
