A shiny mall is just a good way of hiding the exploitation in the supply chain that is needed for cheap finished goods. We just decided it’s easier to leave the slaves in Africa and make them work there and just ship their products instead of their labor.

What is sad about this is that before whites conquered Africa in the 1600s, the Africans did not even really have much of a concept for war or slavery. This is why the whites were able to take over so easily as they used the native Africans naïveté and innocence against them. Before the 1600s African society was one of the most advanced, prosperous, and equitable in the world!
