I have zero sympathy for Trump, but I have to disagree with this.
The Rosenbergs were partly responsible for the USSR’s amazingly quick development of nuclear weapons after WW 2. The consequences of that alone (they also did other stuff including recruit other spies and hand over plans for the newest jetfighter at the time) were incredibly far-reaching. At their sentencing, the Judge said ” Indeed, by your betrayal you undoubtedly have altered the course of history to the disadvantage of our country.”
Trump is in it for himself. The Rosenbergs were actively working for the USSR. Saying that they did “far less” than Trump is incredibly naive.
He belongs in prison. For the rest of his miserable existence. Cold and alone

Don’t leave out how Trumps mentor Roy Cohen was an assistant prosecutor on the team that got them the death penalty.

So this isn’t true, the US knew 100% that Julius & Ethel Rosenberg were Soviet spies from the Verona program which decrypted Soviet communications post war.
In September 2024, a new document was released in response to a FOIA request filed by the couple’s sons: written a week after Ethel’s arrest by the National Security Agency’s chief decryptor and analyst, this 1950 memo provides an analysis of the decrypted Soviet Union intelligence on Julius and Ethel, reviewing Julius’ spying activities and codenames, and concluding that Ethel was not engaged in espionage work for the Soviet Union but was fully aware of her husbands work & supported him indirectly.
