      Bearded Canadian here.

      That’s a trim.

(Looks like they went through a rebranding exercise and updated the mascot to look a bit “tamer”. Dude on the left looks like he could eat a bowl of soup without a spoon.)

    2. Not shaved! Based on the empty bottle, the one on the left just had more time to grow the beard out!

A quick google gives the impression that your bottles were especially bushy for regional marketing. The only instances of the extra bushy logo i find are (Finnish?) imports.

Or maybe it just took longer to run out of the labels than in other markets. Definitely mildly interesting.

    4. The first one reminded me of the late owner of “la Cabane à Pierre”, a sugar shack near Frampton, Quebec. Big bushy white beard. Place was one that saw the most tourists year-round near Québec City. Pandemic and the death of Pierre made them shut down (although the trees still produce).

We get Maple Joe here in Holland also. Now I want to go to the store and check his beard.

Surprised it hasn’t become a big talking point about how people are too “woke” lol. This seems like prime material and they’re too dumb to even know.

Boss man was getting syrup in his glorious beard and was attracting too many insects and hummingbirds.

A difficult, but sensible choice was made.

I’m a Canadian in Cambodia and this is the same brand commonly sold here in Cambodia as well. Never saw it in Canada before though.

Left Maple Joe looks like he got a manifesto, advocating global proletarian revolution in him #☭
