this is an older story from a few years ago. There’s a lot more to this story.. the plaintiff in this case is a real piece of work shamelessly trying to extort money from immigrants.

Her name is Jessica Yaniv and she went to something like 15 salons and sued them all for discrimination. There were a lot that were owned by immigrants with little knowledge of Canada’s legal system. She’s also sued at least one beauty pageant that did not allow trans women that had not had “bottom surgery” performed after they kicked her out after finding out she hadn’t.
She just likes to set people up and then sue them. So scummy.
