The ancient amphitheatre of Antiphellus in Turkey, is the only structure of its type in Anatolia with a sea front. It is complete, but lacks a proscenium, so as to avoid blocking the view of the sea. Built in the 1st century BCE, It was capable of seating 4000 spectators [934×1165]
