    1. “Greyhound – now with more headroom to accommodate today’s cutting-edge hairstyles!”

My grandma would stick my cousin and I on one of these in downtown Columbus and send us to my Uncle’s house in Detroit…. by ourselves.

It was 1981… we were 10

    3. When I was a kid, I would take the Greyhound to go to my grandparents’ in the summer. My folks would send me with a bag of snacks so I didn’t have to get off the bus for lunch (8 hour trip) and I would bring some books. I always looked forward to some uninterrupted reading time but every. single. time. some old lady would sit next to me and want to talk about religion the whole trip. I was raised to “respect my elders” so couldn’t bring myself to ignore them or tell them I wasn’t interested in talking. So annoying.
