And this Iron Man had a real mustache, not that pencil thin thing that Starks calls a mustache.

    2. Iron-man has definitely won wars, probably more than Prussia has.

Bismarck also didn’t *win* wars, he *started* wars. What you think he was a soldier? He was a little prissy politician, not a general. If anyone gets credit for having won them, it was Helmuth Von Moltke.

Tony stark never got shot 5 times before attacking and beating his would be assassin before walking home to relax like nothing had happened. Oh and Bismarck was in his 50’s when he did that.

Tony was such a loser he actually attended his classes at university he didn’t even try to attend no classes instead partying, drinking, gambling and dueling, so bad he ended up fleeing university because of his alcohol and gambling debts. What a loser he was compared to our iron man.

everything immediately goes to hell in a handbasket after “real Iron Man” leaves power because the system he built was not sustainable in the long run, due to the deliberate choices he made, leading to the deaths of millions down the line…

    5. Well, he was an outstanding politician, for sure. But still as a Pole it’s hard for me to fell anything positive about the guy, despite being impressed. Glad he wasn’t as succesfull in his eradication of minorities as he wanted.

“In 1861 Otto von Bismarck wrote in a letter to his sister: “Hit the Poles so hard that they despair of their life; I have full sympathy for their condition, but if we want to survive we can only exterminate them.””

      Such a sympathetic guy.

Otto von Bismarck was one of the worst chancellors we’ve been saddled with in the one hundred fifty years since unification. Beyond his diplomatic efforts he plainly sucked at his job.

      > Won Wars

Bismarck lost any war that he couldn’t pull his divide-and-conquer strategy, because the idiot wouldn’t get it into his head that you don’t pull divide-and-conquer on a nation you just united. He lost the Culture War, failed to surpress the socialists and caused Polish nationalism to soar during his chancellorship.

      > Always has a plan

His batshit insane plans were the reason Willhelm II sacked him. They didn’t like each other, but his plan to bait a miners strike into a a revolt and use the army to slaughter them a few months into Willhelm’s reign broke the camel’s back.

      > United Prussia

And spend twenty years keeping it disunited by trying to play everyone against each other, see point one. He’s the reason half of Germany hates ‘Saupreussen’.

      > Is the real Iron Man

His ‘Iron and Blood’-speech is the parade example of why he was such a failure. Whenever he couldn’t solve his problems with war it ended in an abject disaster, again and again.

And that’s why Extra History should have covered his chancellorship and not just his foreign policy…
