You cannot get diamonds without paying a price, natural diamonds may be the most prized but laboratory grown diamonds are not the cheapest. They burn a lot of coal to get those machines to process chemicals into gemstones. They are not good for the environment, and neither are real diamonds. Choose a different gemstone make it easier on the environment

Diamonds have always been a scam there are plenty of rocks which look good if you cut and polish them hell most people couldn’t spot the difference between a well polish piece of glass and a diamond so about time they got cheaper

If you need a battery of scientific tests to tell natural/synthetic or Old Master/forgery, there’s no reasonable difference between them.
