This isn’t really any different than trying to actively hinder rescue efforts in an emergency, which is universally acknowledged to be criminal behavior.
Spreading fear and mistrust of rescue agencies and recovery operations is attempting to stifle those very things.
What these people are doing regarding the hurricane emergency response is criminal. Our media has once again completely failed to present the facts of this and the repercussions.

They know the aid money will get passed anyway, so they can take credit for helping their constituents while also claiming to take a hard line on defeating government bloat.
