I can understand how someone might believe so strongly in their cause that they justify almost anything to achieve their goals. But intentionally urging people to reject the help they need to survive, just for partisan reasons, is evil.

For years they gut our schools then cry about the schools being bad. They gut FEMA funding and create unnecessary bureaucracy then cry about response being bad. They gut education and cry about bad schools. They gut normal access to preventive healthcare then cry about abortions and fat kids.
