This makes no sense OP. Turtle ships were Korean, so Korea beat Japan on merit.
It would make more sense if you put Yi Sun Shin there, but of course…he was also Korean.

Japan destroyed all the turtle ships ever built at the Battle of Chilcheollyang in 1597.
