Doesn’t matter if you’re planning a tank the size of ~25 normal tanks if that mfer can’t cross any man-made bridge and the enemy can spam A-24 Banshees overhead.

Tanks like the Landkreuzer P. 1000 Ratte and the Maus would have been best suited to being parade ground weapons for when after the war was won , they could cruise up and down a specially prepared runway and look impressive as hell. But the moment they went onto grass they would have had a real risk of getting bogged, even on dry ground.

I Get the like curved barrel was stupid but the stg44 although not a great weapon was very capable.
