Lincoln was very mindful that the Capitol was built by slaves and he never allowed the Confederate flag to appear anywhere in it. EVERY PRESIDENT SINCE LINCOLN kept the Confederate flag out of the WH and the Capitol building UNTIL TRUMP HAPPENED.
