It’s called “screenPLAY”. I would never want to watch a film with kids and drunk adults playing on a large playground right next to me the whole time, but I love the idea of sending all the people who are loud or who want to have their phones out the whole time to a separate screening room.

Then again, maybe if the movie sucked I wouldn’t feel like I’d wasted my time, since at least I could play

What a great place to watch Action, Horror and Porn-much of anything from Hollyweird

“Hhhmmmnn, we’ll need a good family movie for the screenPlay room … oh, how about this Italian movie *Life is Beautiful* ? That sounds like a family movie!”

    4. I accidentally got a ticket for one of these to watch an animated movie. It felt really awkward to be there with my date, but honestly – the play area was great! All the kids tired themselves out right before the movie started, then were completely quiet during the movie. It was a real surprise. I’ve never been back to one, but I could see this being really helpful if you’re a parent with a kid who can’t sit through a movie well.

    5. Fuck. No. Here I am wishing they’d let me pay extra to be in a theater with nobody under 25 let in. You’d have to pay me to watch a movie where kids can play and scream the whole time.

    6. Both my niece and nephew can sit through a kids movie. But if there was a playground in their eyesight, no way that they would manage!

    7. Tell me which theatre it is so I can avoid it. Enabling bad behavior of bringing unruly kids to ruin other peoples viewing enjoyment no thanks

my brain is split between wanting to go in the playground and climb up and watch, and sitting in the chair like a normal well adjusted adult.
