I’ve been thinking about this a lot – just WHY are this many people still supporting him?
Now I think that some of it has to do with being marginalized, whether that’s beliefs or income or whatever. People who feel they are “less than” need to feel better and by believing in conspiracy theories that makes them “smarter.”
“I know the news says this and that but they are bought by Big Money and will say whatever they are told to say.” for instance.
If they can blame their problems in life on someone else — immigrants, other races, liberals/Democrats/leftists, then it doesn’t really change their lives, but changes the PERCEPTION that it’s not really their fault, but something else.
When Myorkas makes a statement about FEMA money and how it’s allocated, who are they going go believe? He has been called a liar so many times in Congress that it’s almost impossible for them to believe him.
It’s a sad and depressing day when so many people in this country are hornswaggled by the MAGA rhetoric. People in positions of power have a lot to answer for with this shit.

They don’t want to. The folks that are MAGA have been privileged to be the main character their whole lives. An advanced society is one where it’s not all about them and they cannot fathom losing their privilege.
