I’ve said some things about women in the “locker room,” but have never said anything remotely close to wanting to sexually assault women

    2. Infinite-Condition41 on

I’ve never said anything like that about women ever, including locker rooms.

Most men I know haven’t either, but some probably have. I just don’t associate with anyone who’d make a habit of it.

    3. Ummm no … nothing even close to this shit … cause my father raised me with manners … and he would slap my head around like the exorcist

    4. I think slimy people honestly think everyone thinks as they do. They think they are the only ones brave enough to admit it

    5. AMonitorDarkly on

I’m in my late 30s and I can’t iterate how easy it’s been to not talk about sexually assaulting someone that entire time. It’s been no problem at all.

Somehow I doubt many of them were men at all when they said it (if they did). This is something you “might” hear from a 12 year old prepubescent boy but most “men” have realized that saying shit like this is just disgusting and unacceptable. Also hopefully ashamed that they may have once thought this way. Also it doesn’t make it ok.

Ah yes, the ‘Dear Women’ letter, brought to you by the Department of ‘Not All Men But Actually All Men’.

No, and especially not at 60 years old. Conservatives excuse their own asshole behavior because they can’t imagine or even recognize anything beyond their fellow conservative assholes’ behavior.

    9. It ain’t called dumb it’s called weird. Even psychopathic rapist wannabes can be smart. I mean, just feed the ego and see if he starts talking about Haiti,5G, covid hoax, and inflation and Harris skin colour, and the amendments. At that point, we can all collectively start calling him low intelligent foe. But so far, it’s just weird rapist wannabe.

    10. No, no they have not. Perverts and assholes speak like that. Real Men, and people that have respect for others, do not.

    11. Yeah, and the vast majority of us grew out of it by age 22, and weren’t held liable for RAPE, or hanging out in teen girls’ dressing rooms.

    12. That is not true. I’ve been in and out of gyms for 20 years. I’ve heard locker room talk in dozens of gyms, in half a dozen states, from every end of the societal spectrum. I’ve heard that kind of vulgarity so rarely that each time it is shocking, and never so severe as that. It’s a tough thing to start a confrontation when you’re wearing a towel, but I would’ve confronted a man saying those words. And I guess enough other end men feel the same way, in such numbers that the creeps know, for the most part, to shut the fuck up. Most men are not like this trash.

    13. That “person” does not speak for me, and a lot of men who have never spoken like that.

    14. FatFaceFaster on

There is an enormous difference between “locker room talk” which includes talking about women’s bodies, crude jokes etc… and full blown sexual assault

Which is one of those things that if you talk about it openly, you’re probably capable of it.

No, it doesn’t prove that he did it, but it proves that he thinks it’s something worth bragging about which is telling enough on its own.

    15. SuperJman1111 on

People that say stuff like this always think they are the majority for some reason, people that say stuff like this are super messed up

    16. Hmm, never at any point have I told someone that I could grab a woman and make sexual advances without asking, and that they’d let me do it because I was famous. And I don’t personally know any man who has ever said that.

And I would certainly hope we would hold presidents to a higher standard, although I concede that is a tall order.

    17. But they did not say it on camera, viewed by people all over the World, and then run for President of the United States! And I doubt any men would say this kind of thing, essentially saying they would commit sexual assault on women!

    18. OutOfSupplies on

Teenage boys spout off all kinds of stuff to impress their buddies. Mature adult men do not.

    19. Have I talked blue when I was a young kid trying to impress other boys with no sexual experience? Yes. Do I look back on it with a sense of shame at how wildly inappropriate and immature I was? Also yes. I also stopped that shit by the time I was eighteen and had enough sense in my head to realize how vile that kind of talk was.

Holding a grown ass man in his 70s that you expect to lead the free world to the same standard as a fucking sixteen year old punk ass kid is pathetic.

    20. Although 99.99% of these men arent at risk of being the commander in chief and highest officer of the country who represents that country on the world stage.

You kinda want to put your best person forward.

If nothing else, even if he said what other men apparently do, he was so fucking stupid to believe that his brag wouldn’t be outed.

      Misogynist and dumb as rocks.

Not good pedigree for a president.

    21. Dear Whom-ever-posted-the-ugly-comment-above:

F*CK YOU. I’m a man and I have never ever EVER voiced or thought or believed that bullshit about how to treat women.

You are an a**hole. Re-Truth this asshat.

    22. mildlysceptical22 on

No, we haven’t. Psycho fucking weirdo creeps maybe talk that way but us normal guys, the ones who really like women, have never even thought about them that way, much less talking about them like some pervert.

    23. He’s lying. Even in my horniest perverse teenage years I’ve never spoken about sexually assaulting a female and saying “you can do it because…”.
I guess the good thing about stuff like this is that these creeps expose themselves

    24. On my life I have never had another conversation with a man like that. I have said “I wanna hit that” or “she’s fine as f***”. But never said I just walk up and grab them, or alluded to any kind of non-consensual acts. And when a weird douchebag the other day even joked about drugging women I told him that’s fucked and walked away. Men don’t talk like that entitled douches talk like that. Be better.
