Oh yeah, for those who don’t know, during that period there was a slave revolt in the south of Iraq in the marshlands, their leader was some self proclaimed guy to the Ali bloodline (I forgot their name and the name of the revolt), the goal was NOT to end slavery but to free the slaves so that they can get the wealth and their own slaves, they built a city for their capital and captured cities in south Iraq, till the caliph had to intervene and put down the revolt.
