Veteran here… speaking as a former member of the military, and having served two overseas tours myself, thank you for your service. And don’t forget that you (and I) volunteered to serve and knew the inherent risks involved. I’m sorry for what you’ve gone through. It is not right. But maybe remember who funneled money AWAY from the military to use to start building his wall. And yes, the VA system needs to be fixed – but it has nothing to do with how we should treat others.

As a disabled veteran, I’ve never had an issue with the VA. I’m not saying no one does, but I think you only hear the horror stories echoed. I do not believe it’s as bad and broken as most people are led to believe.
