It’s interesting because these videos of Chinese old living and craftsmanship have become exceedingly popular. There are thousands of amazing videos. The government is torn. They like the attention chinas getting. But on other side of coin the entire government is built on trying to modernize and industrialize china away from agrarian lifestyle. In past 35 years it went from an agrarian society to an industrial power house. They did this by controlling every aspect of media and culture. These videos are an anomaly for them. There are some cool articles about it.
