I saw a sovereign citizen at the grocery store today.

    1. and of course the vehicle itself is in such a state that it’s a hazard to everyone around it. No insurance, no license, no responsibility for themselves.

    2. I’d like to hear sovereign citizens explain how their supposed immunity from traffic laws prevents the harm that can come from violating them. If you get run down by a car because the driver was going over the speed limit and couldn’t stop in time, you aren’t any less dead if they were “traveling.”

    3. So these people are pulled over and ticketed right? This seems so dumb that it feels made up, though I know they are out there

might as well put a bumper sticker that says, “please pull me over!”

videos about sovcits arguing with cops are the only times I feel sympathy for cops

    5. Pickup truck? clearly he has been hired by many friends and relatives to transport a couch or fridge at some point.

    6. If they want to renounce their citizenship, do they not realize that means they could in theory be kicked out? Don’t want to play by our rules, then you’re no longer welcome kinda thing. I’m sure they have the same rule for their own house so they should be able to understand that. Only problem is other countries probably don’t want them either.

Theres plenty of uninhabited islands.. pick one and give them all a free one-way ticket to it

    8. I see this a lot in Washington, and I also see many people driving around with no plates, no temporary plates, just nothing. It’s wild

    9. If they think no laws apply to them does that mean we could torch their car and they would have to just shrug and say so be it?

    10. I guess that makes them immune and exempt from all of our traffic laws. Wow. Who knew it was so easy. The rest of us are chumps.
