Reminds me of the time we met our fundraising goal at a job and I as the manager had to then dress in drag for a whole shift. This old (like oooold) dude comes in to buy some pen nibs and I ring his order through, the whole time he’s staring cockeyed at me. I give him his receipt and change and he goes “why the hell are you dressed like that?” I explained the fundraiser and he just grabs his bag forcefully from the counter and goes “that ain’t right.” I never saw him shop there again.
