    1. It’s kinda strange isn’t it? As an adult I have much more dough to blow on games but not the same level of interest. It is a shame in a way

    2. Is it something that’s been happening a long time or just popped up? Cause sometimes I got that too, so I take a break and can back when it comes back up. It’s natural to not always want to pursue your hobby

    3. Getting older plus if you’re working and you don’t have time to play video games. All we want is just a good rest on the bed 🫠

Nah, u just need a sale in steam and you are good to go.

      or

Your favorite game will be remastered.

      Game on till die brother.

    5. Take a break from gaming, I guess. That’s what I did. Last year I havent played videogames more than a few hours all-together…….fast forward to this year and I was addicted to Baldur’s Gate 3 for the first few months of the year. Now I’m back to watching tv series and playing MtG…..

    6. That’s good though, now you have time to find other, healthier hobbies.

My interest in gaming significantly decreased with my divorce (gamed way too much towards the end, probably also as an escape, looking back on it).
First it was at near 0 (depression), now it’s increasing again, but nowhere near previous levels.
I’m glad though, more time for more productive hobbies like hitting the gym, actually doing something that’s good for me.

I’m not loosing interest in video games, I’m loosing interest in modern gaming. For the past 3 months I’ve been using my Retroid pocket 4pro more than my ps5.

    8. Play hollow knight! Play Elden ring! Play shovel knight! Play Celeste. (I love 2d platformers lol) Don’t play online mmo garbage

The cool thing is: you can still enjoy the same 5-20 year old games you’ve been playing for your entire life!

    10. Ok ok before this turns to “games are not fun anymore” while playing the same games or “we just grew out man” it’s neither.

Current gen of games are just boring, anything has to be a live service slop while having non of the charm of love and development, every year we get a game that says what people want.

2022 with Elden Ring,2023 with Baldurs Gate 3,and now 2024 with Black Myth Wukong, people want just good development games not the prettiest which all companies talk only about, gameplay is boring lore and story is mediocre.

It’s made around doing dailies and keep doing that forever, the only way to have with games is to have a bigger love for multiple genres and 1-2,

But if you still don’t find it interesting………then I don’t know maybe you actually just don’t like games.

Its fine. In many ways video games are a form of entertainment that help us get by and enjoy our lives. If you find you’ve moved on or just need a short break or a long break then that’s fine. Our egos so often dominate our idea of not only who we are but who we should be that we forget its okay to change and change again.

Rest easy big guy, you have good memories. If you change that doesn’t mean you have to leave them behind nor that you’ll never make ones like them again. <3

    12. I’m 16 and sadly its relatable. I thought I wouldn’t feel this way whatsoever but here I am..
