What these clown ass republicans are saying is practically impossible
But they don’t care. They want the sound bites for their inbred base.
People don’t realize just how much the industry changed after 2008. The process is extensive. Sometimes these UW’s will come back with the craziest shit and cause loans to get delayed.
Let alone just being approved in the beginning

Why does everyone assume an immigrant is broke? You’re probably thinking of refugees. Pesos, pounds, euros, and canadian dollars are all able to be traded to USD

What i heard from some interviews from people that help migrants is that they have a list of names where the migrants all contribute a certain amount of money to help them buy houses since they can’t get mortgages easily. And that sometimes they share homes with other families to save money. I think it’s smart to have something like that and i have nothing against it.

Rich immigrant came via investment visa / or student visa, lol. I’m friend with a lot of Chinese family and the majority bought a house for their kids when the kid got accepted to university.
Recent trend seem to be putting down payment “only” 60-80% and get a roommate to pay the rest.
