      # This hurts. Really.

      # He just did an interview with Louis Gossett Jr. not long ago:

      Rip John Amos.

I caddied for John Amos almost 30 years ago at a celebrity pro am, and he was a horrible golfer, but one of the nicest human beings.

My favorite part of the round was when he finally hit a good shot getting the ball close to the pin, took a bow and gave a little speech. If I remember right he said “I’d like to thank the Academy, I’d like to thank my Caddie for giving me the right club.”

The funny thing is I basically just gave him whatever club my I grabbed because I didn’t think it mattered.
