If you’re going to teach someone to pronounce English properly then you need to get an English person, Americans have weird accents too, this guy included.
I should make something very clear, I’m Scottish and have an accent too, but credit where it’s due, the English do English properly.

So my gf and a few of our friends have an Australian friend who always greets us with “hellar” instead of “hello” and also says “nahr” instead of “no”, to the point that it’s become a meme between us. I’m so used to answering my phone with “hellar” and saying “nahr” that I’ve confused a few people who aren’t in on the joke.
