    1. Digital watches had all kinds of fun, ambitious complications when I was growing up (databank, computer link, TV!), so when I started playing D&D during the pandemic, I was surprised to find that there wasn’t one for rolling dice for table top role playing games.

When I left Biosphere on the Shuttle, how was I going to play our campaign at Spacelab? There will be D&D in the future, and dice don’t roll in zero-g. 🙂

Three (short?) years later we have one. Rolls D4-D100, has advantage and disadvantage, and allows rolling up to 12 of any given die for big damage rolls. No gravity required. If you’re interested, we also did a [full making-of write up](https://timestoptech.com/blogs/super-twisted/dungeons-development-of-the-d-20-watch).
