    1. I think they’re just trying to emphasise that you can’t compare a pyramid built of huge stone blocks carved and hauled by hand, with a pyramid built using modern technology, to try and glorify your country.

      But yeah, it is a pyramid.

    3. Just to remove any lingering doubts, Bass Pro ought to entomb a pharaoh somewhere in the Tackle and Bait section. They usually have enough stuffed animals around the store for the addition not to stand out.

      Pretty sure this is a reference to miniminuteman, a YouTuber who has done videos debunking pseudoarcheology stuff, where he has to repeatedly say this phrase, as people keep claiming that things that definitely aren’t pyramids are

      It’s not a bass pro shop, this is the Luxor Resort/Casino in Las Vegas.

      It’s a cool building. It’s has the strongest light beam in the world.

    9. Well, today I learned that pyramid and polyhedron are synonyms. In their defense (and mine I suppose), I’ve never once heard or read anyone describe anything other than the ancient pyramids, as being pyramids, everything else is always pyramid shaped.

      I actually live close to Memphis so I see this pyramid all the time.
