I think they’re just trying to emphasise that you can’t compare a pyramid built of huge stone blocks carved and hauled by hand, with a pyramid built using modern technology, to try and glorify your country.

Well, today I learned that pyramid and polyhedron are synonyms. In their defense (and mine I suppose), I’ve never once heard or read anyone describe anything other than the ancient pyramids, as being pyramids, everything else is always pyramid shaped.
