Pretty sure this is due to how the thumbnails (“swatches”) are presented in Amazon. You have to upload your rescaled pic to a server and then integrate the link on the listing, rather than adding pictures to the listing directly like the main product pictures.
Probably the link to the thumbnail had a slight typo when entered.
