This bronze vessel, found in Nero's villa, is inscribed with the name of Mithradates IV (163-120 BC), infamous foe of the Roman Republic. This piece was likely brought to Rome as plunder by Sulla or Pompey around that time.
Now housed in the Capitoline Museum, Rome.
