      I see this one fairly often, people will call 2-3 days after surgery freaked out by wierd bruising. Your skin folds naturally and the stitches pressed into the skin. You can see the fold line to the right of the bruise.

      What’s bugging me here is that length of sutures after the ligature. Why in God’s name didn’t they trim those rat tails down a little?

      Had also this ‘replica’ after a sist removal on the inner side of my leg. The funny thing is, after 26 years, I can still tell where the ‘replica’ is and hardly the incision itself.

    3. I had a lump removed from my back (scar about 4 inches) and there is still a mirror line below it. Though much more healed now six months later it’s still visible
