The billboard for Superior Beer translates to “the blonde that everyone wants” a slogan that isn’t used in advertising today.
It was of interest to me at the time because just prior to my trip to Mexico I had a University class In Mexican History and the professor delved into aspects of the culture to explain Mexico’s past and the philosophy behind why that slogan would sell beer was examined. I liked Carta Blanca beer better in those days 😊
