Well, I mean Japan was thinking of Surrender anyways. Germany could’ve had 2 or 3 cities struck and might have just kept going, and the allies would have to build more of those bombs, and wouldn’t they have gotten their hands on their own after a while. Or… maybe if the Axis never went to war with the US in the first place, or have been competent during Dunkirk and caused the UK to sue for peace, or if they never attacked the USSR. But no, they decided to take on all three at once.
