    1. Reminds me of that “[Mask of Agamemmnon](https://www.metmuseum.org/articles/mask-of-agamemnon)” found by Schliemann.

      And I remember looking at that and thinking “oh sure, the features are primitively worked into the gold, but the shape of the forehead and cheeks kind of look like the whole thing was shaped onto a man’s face.

      I wonder if the same with this mask here? That it might’ve been shaped to a man’s face for burial?
