Unsheltered in San Diego is much different than being unsheltered in Oklahoma City. Just wondering how bad the numbers would be for summer and winter.

Scratching just beneath the surface of this statistic shows that it is largely meaningless. Being unsheltered doesn’t have the same impact in temperate versus extreme weather areas or rural versus urban areas. Also, these numbers are reported by state agencies which have different standards and reporting practices.
