There was a call from Welsh Mountain Rescue a few years ago urging people not to have hen dos on Yr Wyddfa because so many women were getting injured by turning their ankles.
You’ve got to really wonder what happens in people’s heads sometimes.

When I hiked Everest Base Camp a few years ago there was a lady on the trail wearing kitten heels and caring only her over the arm purse (which looked very expensive). Her partner was carrying their day pack and they had their own porter.

For a safe trek, leave the high heels at home and embrace the hiking vibes

Let me guess this is a few minutes from the closest cabin lift station.

If you’re the kind of person who sees the rocks and still thinks heels are good for this, I doubt the sign is going to change your mind

Given that I saw people using high heels on grass fields, over those metal surfaces with a huge amount of holes or a lot of places that it were obvious a bad idea… I wouldn’t be surprised in seeing people using on places like this too.
