    1. I do all three… also add horror games, RTS games, MOBAs, MMORPGs, Roguelikes and any other genre you can probably think off…. once I even listened to my own music while playing a music mixing game that was a meme in itself…

    2. It’s not optimal but it definitely makes you feel like a badass if you play music while mowing down people (in game)

    3. cs and siege is meant to be played while listening to music and also with cs you can minimize your screen to 1280×600 or some resolution and watch movies on the other half of the screen

    4. I do it for any type of game, honestly. If I don’t want to listen to anything from the gake and I’m craving some music, I just put some music and play the game (music being some HEAVY metal music lol)

90s gansta rap if I’m grinding in a loot/drop based rpg, like the forever boring chaos chambers in tiny Tina wonderlands

    6. I listen to TF2 spoof songs and remixes from 11 years ago while running around as a pyromaniac with a flaming axe. Good times.

Tell me about horror games with anime songs. Literally unhorror a horror game with just dancing songs.

    8. Only try hards and sweats need sound in video games especially FPS games because they sound whore the most out of anyone.

    9. People playing Witcher 3 with anime nightcore bass boosted speedup russian hardbass in the background are far worse than these last ones honestly. I pity people that can’t comprehend the value of immersion in story/RPG games.

When my sister and I were kids we’d play Serious Sam (TFE&TSE) with the soundtrack off and Deep Forest and Enigma playing through Windows Media Player

      Good times XD

    11. I used to listen to EDM, Dubstep and similar while doing PVP in Destiny. Something about the high tempo made me play faster and objectively better than when I wasn’t listening to music. I even made a playlist specifically for when I was playing crucial because of this.

(does not work for games where being a sound who*e is important)

I play ultrakill while “a place to rest” plays in the background… the music is really peaceful, and doesn’t fit the gameplay.

    13. I mean…. the last one is basically Doom Eternal, and oh man… now I feel like replaying it😂😂

    14. Most of my friends do that when playing overwatch. When I tried out the game a few months ago, it didn’t feel like it was hindering their performance.

    15. I listen to podcasts while playing COD. COD is just something I do with my hands while my brain can be occupied with more interesting things.

I’m already mostly deaf and can’t hear footsteps or determine gunshot directions

      Let me have my playlist

    17. Blasting the guitar solo from Free Bird in proximity chat while you’re charging through a cornfield in War of Rights is peak gaming.

    18. Is it that bad? Seems normal to me at this point. The real fuck it move is to have a YouTube video on another monitor and watch that while beating people in a fps.

    19. I partly agree, like I can’t imagine playing doom with other music or cs with music but there is an exception. When I play enlisted I put my favourite soviet playlist in the background and it’s cool AF

That shit gets scary if you start vibing specially siege someone’ll come around a corner at Mach Jesus and take your head

    21. There isn’t anything wrong with listening to music while playing fps games… As long as it’s not a game where hearing enemy footsteps matters.

    22. I have never not listened to music playing ranked and Im not gonna stop listening to music playing ranked

Tho i Val i do have been turning it off during rounds
