    1. Next thing you know – someone with a peculiar expertise will diagnose you with a rare genetic disease. you only have a few months left

    2. The nail tech in me is crying to hand you a nail file… letting it grow that long can seriously damage the area it grows from😭

    3. MINE ARE THE SAME I find it very annoying and clip them right down. They’re so thick and tough too like a fungal nail, though they aren’t fungal.

That toe nail has ambitions. Only one way to get to the top. Straight up

Also maybe you should let it grow, there has to be a Guinness record that you could possibly beat.

    5. I have one too! My Serbian Roma Grandma called it a witch’s toe and tried to have me exorcised when I was 5 😂🖤 I miss her so much hahaha

    6. Mine was the same, id take 2 years to fully heal , and i always had it like that until i tried this :

What i did ( i didn’t see a doctor for this, so i don’t have proof it will work on you), is to cut with tweezer nail clippers in a 30/45 degree ( your right foot on the left side of a clock, nail facing the 9, it should be around 10,30 am/pm degree of cutting) and use some hydrogen peroxide often to clean any potential fungus/bacteria.

First cut straight ( like you normally would) but leave enough space to perform this operation.

If your nails isn’t thick enough you can also use a nail file after cutting.

This in theory helps the nail grow thicker on the side facing the skin, because here they grow faster and over time they won’t bend so much without the outer side.

The peroxide part is important, but it’s not a daily use, more or less 2 times a week, few drops, and always wash the feet after and maybe apply any moisture cream.

      Mine do this!
The first (and last) time I got a pedicure the person had so much trouble painting the actual nail that she decided to paint my SKIN in the shape of a nail

    8. One of mind does similar. It grows normal until a point, then it decides to curve up. Im thinking i had cut it too short in past and toe pushed up on nail and made it do that. Im on my feet a lot so i figured it was why.

i have 2 that do this ever since i had covid toes. did you have covid and did they fall off??

    10. If you cut a “V” shape into it in the center it will flatten out. Mine are like yours unless I periodically do this. The edges will be sharp while it grows out so beware.

    11. I was born like that too. But second toe. It’s rounded. And it grows vertical. Like a stump!

PS: Thank you for sharing your toenail! I’m feeling do fuzzy and happy that there are many people here with same toe condition. My own mum called my toe defected and I should get it surgically removed. Cut her off for other worse things. But yea! I love my toenail more than ever ♥️

Holy fuck I’m not the only one!! My nails always end up sharp because it’s so damn hard to reach with the nail growing like that.

    13. one of mine grows sideways. I hate it, it digs into my other toes when it gets just a little too long

Mine grows in half. I have to clip it down as much as I can because it’s like permanent hang nail.

Same thing happens to me! People always make fun of it whenever I’m barefoot. Idk why people are looking at my toes so much 🤨
