Just imagine a Presidential candidate says during a debate that his opponent wants to pay “transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison” and really no one talks about it a day later, because it’s by far not his weirdest statement.

It did it’s job, getting Project 2015 OUT of the spotlight.
It’s so he could be ” just silly” instead of sounding completely fucking dangerous.
I dont think people give the grifters on his team enough credit. If P25 stayed in the news cycle people might have started reading about it and – regardless of if it’s chicken little or 100% fact – it would have impacted their decisions.
