*Update:
I did indeed accept the job from the referral since it would be more beneficial to my career at that company. I spent hours learning Angular and ASP.NET which I had never touched before in order to get through this interview, I’m normally on a ReactJS and NodeJS stack. I was in the final round for another company I was interviewing with (was just a vibe check interview) but decided it wouldn’t be as beneficial to my career.
