    2. It’s a lovely statue, but there’s a flaw with the whole Arthur as King thing. Why would he be a beloved and wise ruler?

      Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

      You can’t wield supreme executive power because some watery tart threw a sword at you
