Inscription: Etruria held rich deposits of tin and copper, which attracted seafaring merchants from across the Mediterranean. Etruscan metalsmiths excelled at fashioning bronze, an alloy made by combining those two metals, into a variety of beautiful objects.
The bronze items in this case give us a glimpse into the lifestyle of Etruria's elite as well as the type of goods they exported in exchange for Athenian ceramics and other luxuries.
