    1. Not to defend taco hell. When a new item comes out, they usually price it below normal to entice customers. The beefy burrito is only $4.59 at the Taco Bell near me. Location prices do make a difference. Is your price based off a $20 min wage?

Inflation is just the cost-of-goods increase. You failed to look at the tripling of the minimum wage, the soaring costs of insurance, etc.

    3. If only there were some way to avoid overpaying for a shitty fast food burrito.

CORPORATE GREED!!!! works because people continue to pay for stuff at high prices.

    4. “But you guys don’t get it, its all for the shareholders! We’re not greedy, they are!”

    5. I was curious so I looked up the 5 layer burrito on the taco bell app. Here in Alabama it is currently $4.19. I’m thinking door dash would totally hike that price up to the $5 range.

Still, I remember when they were more affordable.

Just stop buying then! Honestly it’s not either an essential food nor a very healthy one anyway…

    7. Like everyone doesn’t already know lol

The only reason there’s no uprising is because everyone is just too fucking tired

For 4 dollars more you can go to an actual Mexican restaurant and get free chips and salsa a meal bigger than you can eat and leftovers for dinner or lunch the next day. Fuck taco bell.

    9. The most egregious example is the Cheese Qusadilla. I’m expected to play $6+ for that thing?
