Most people respect each other’s hobbies, but problems arise when you neglect your partner by spending excessive time on them. If you only have a few free hours a day and use most of them for gaming while expecting support from your partner, it’s unfair to them.

Inventing backstories? Maybe it’s *her* game system and he just found a game HE wanted to play. Maybe she’s the one on it constantly and he’s trying to like what she likes so they can bond.

First playthrough I just play how I feel, never save scum and never look at any trailers, guides, cheats or tips ( BG3 I killed Lae’zel about 20 minutes in, then realised she was on the poster ). Second playthrough is pretty much me looking up best builds, best companions, best weapons/spells and how to get every legendary item and secret area.

Best moments, I remember my GF helping me solve side quests in Akrham Knights and she got too interested with the game without even playing it and just watching me do missions.
